On this site we have put together important information for you. Restaurants There is a variety of restaurant in Toro; everything is available from the cheap lunch menu up to the gourmet menu for gourmets. The school has a list of recommendations for you ready. A lunch menu consisting of a first plat, a main course and a dessert including wine or water costs between 7.50 euros to 9.50 euros. Bars There are over 100 bars in Toro. There is something for every taste and age. From the typical bar where the locals take their wine to more sophisticated bars where you get the most creative tapas. Rent a car Cars can be hired in Zamora or Valladolid. There are several car rental companies. Bus timetables We have all bus timetables available in the school for you. To Zamora and Valladolid
Medical care The bus company " La Regional V.S.A. " serves these two cities with up to 14 busses daily. To Salamanca There are several busses daily to Salamanca. There is a modern medical care centre in Toro. The nearest hospitals are in Zamora, approx. 30 km from Toro and over the motorway reachable in about 15 min. Emergency number of the health care centre in Toro: 980 69 10 53 General emergency number: 112 Dial 112 to call the police, fire brigade or medical emergency. This emergency number can be dialled in all public telephone boxes without any money. Dentist There are several dentists who can help in case of emergency. Internet Access ToLingua offers its students free internet access during the school opening hours. Apart from this there is a cyber-café and the public library where our students can surf the net. There is also a café with free WiFi acces, for those who have a laptop. |

Bullfight Arena |
On July 2010 the old bullfight arena was inaugurated solemnly in Toro. After several years of costly renovations, in which old craft techniques were applied, the wooden building is there in all its splendour. The building dated from 1828, it is the second-oldest bullring in Spain. It is testimony to a glorious bygone era of the small town on the Duero river, as it was still provincial capital, where many noble families lived.
